Himalayan Excursion - Concept

Himalayan Excursion aims at providing an insight to the scientific aspects related to the Himalaya.

The scope of Himalayan excursions extends to

    * Education
    * Conservation
    * Research
    * Publications
    * Social upliftment

The educational programs are focused on bringing awareness amongst the student class above 12 yrs of age. The Himalayan Excursion  for students aims at providing  experiential learning opportunities for the young generation to discover their own potential through challanging outdoor situations.

The programs are covered in Eastern Himalaya , Central and Western Himalaya at differant locations. The objective of the program is to provide first hand knowledge and experiences in understanding the Social, Cultural, Historical , Environmental  and Educational aspects  of the Himalaya.

These objectives are achieved by camping, trekking, participation in adventure based activities and tasks, experiencing the topography and the changes in the climate and environment and to understand its impact on the flora and fauna and human population in its vicinity.

The programs usually ranges from 10 days to 15 days , mostly in summer vacations in India or during  late winter season. special need based programs are conducted on demand from educational institutions and corporates.
